In 1979 Garret was born in a small suburban town of Agoura Hills, California. With a mom as a personnel hair dresser of Jack Nicholson among some of the other biggest actors in Hollywood and a father as a Stuntman throughout three decades in Holly- wood, he was raised no stranger to the industry. As a child Garret chose athletics and excelled in sports such as baseball, bas- ketball, football and expecially soccor. His instinctive competiveness grew in him a rebellious nature which left him no stranger to fights and a distrust of authority as a youth. Graduating high school Garrett played soccor and traveled all over Europe and in minor leagues pursuing his life dream as a professional soccor player. After a serious ankle injury he was forced to take a break and travel back to the states. While he was recuperating at home he received a phone call from a friend that asked him if he was interested in going to an open call for a Drew Barrymore film and so his new life began.
